with six bedrooms, two kitchens and its own GARDEN hidden under a retractable
roof goes on sale for £1.7m
A six bedroom, six bathroom
luxury houseboat has gone on the market - and features its own incredible
garden that fits under a retractable roof.
The £1.69 million boat has an
enormous 1,302 square foot of perfectly manicured Art Deco-style garden
space that can be hidden during bad weather.
The 'unique' boat, moored in
Canary Wharf, also comes with further outside decking.
Prime location: Le Sorelle
is currently being moored at Canary Wharf in London
Impressive: Le Sorelle features 1,302 square feet of
Art-Deco style garden that comes with its own retractable roof
Luxury:The £1.69 million boat has been decked out with
wood rescued following Hurricane Katrina
Prime location: With its own private decking, the owner

Best materials: The boat has six bathrooms, complete
with tiles made from crushed natural granite from Spain
With
space at such a premium in central London, waterside specialists Riverhomes
said Le Sorelle, which is moored in South Quay, Canary Wharf, is the 'best
boat' they have seen in the capital.
The boat two kitchens, a bar, a
wheelhouse, three reception rooms and two kitchens.
The impressive houseboat is decked
out in unique materials including wood reclaimed from the damage left by
Hurricane Katrina.
The American current owner, who
has not been named, commissioned wood to be flown over after the 2005
hurricane that killed more than 1,800 people in the storm and subsequent
floods.
American
red oak, pine, hickory, pecan and poplar has all been used.
Director of Riverhomes Nigel Day
said: 'The boat’s owner owns properties near where Hurricane Katrina hit
and a lot of wood was forced down there by the storm.
Previously
moored in Holland, she crossed the North Sea last August and is currently
docked at South Quay.
Mr Day said: 'The interest has
been unbelievable.
'Le Sorelle is one of those boats
that people will be really gutted to miss out on.'
Houseboat: Le Sorelle also boasts two kitchens which
also feature Spanish tiles
Plush: The houseboat has six bedrooms, pictured, as
well as room to house three or four staff
Opulent: As well as reclaimed wood from the hurricane,
the boat has handcrafted teak doors and windows and solid Brazilian Walnut
floors
Disaster: A large tree was blown into a neighbour's
garden, pictured, gives a small snapshot of the disaster wreaked by
Hurricane Katrina
