Chú cá mập hai đầu được phát hiện lần đầu tiên trên thế
giới.

"Cặp đôi" cá
mập sơ sinh này được tìm thấy ở vịnh Mexico. Đây là "cặp" cá mập duy nhất
có 2 đầu được phát hiện trên thế giới. Chuyên gia Michael Wagner ở
Đại học bang Michigan nhận xét: "Đây là một trong những hiện tượng thú vị
và rất hiếm gặp."
Các chuyên gia ở Đại học
bang Michigan đã tiến hành một nghiên cứu về các sinh vật kỳ lạ. Họ khẳng định
con cá mập này có 2 cái đầu riêng biệt, còn trái tim và dạ dày, với phần còn
lại của cơ thể ghép với nhau ở phía sau để tạo thành một cái đuôi.

"Quái vật" rùa
hai đầu đáng yêu này được một sĩ quan cảnh sát tìm thấy tại bờ sông Almendares
ở Havana, Cuba.

Ngày 5/4/2004, một người
thầy giáo tại Tứ Xuyên, Trung Quốc đã phát hiện con thằn lằn hai đầu này. Con
thằn lằn dài 7 cm, đầu to dài 1,6 cm, đầu nhỏ khoảng 0,7 cm. Hai cái đầu đều
đầy đủ các cơ quan và chúng đều hoạt động tốt.

Con châu chấu hai đầu
này được phát hiện tại một trang trại cafe ở Amaga thuộc bang Antioquia,
Colombia với độ cao 1.400 m so với mực nước biển. Con côn trùng này có hai đầu,
chiếc đầu màu đỏ trông có vẻ cuốn hút hơn nhằm làm sao nhãng những kẻ săn mồi.

Chú mèo Janus (đặt theo
tên của vị thần La Mã có hai đầu) được sinh ra với 3 mắt, 2 mũi và 2 miệng. Hầu
hết những chú mèo có hai đầu chỉ sống được vài giờ nhưng chú mèo này đã sống
tới hơn 12 năm. Chú mèo hai đầu này (hai cái đầu được đặt tên là Frank và
Louie) đã được ghi vào sách Kỷ lục Guiness là chú mèo sống lâu nhất.

tại trang trại cá sấu Samut Prakarn ở vùng ngoại thành Thủ đô Bangkok, Thái
Lan. Chú cá sấu con này dài 17 cm và nặng 70 g. Chú cá sấu này có hai đầu, 8
chân và 2 cái đuôi.

Chú lợn hai đầu Rudy
được sinh ra tại trang trại Scott & Vicki Vorwald ở Iowa, Mỹ năm 1997. Chú
lợn này nặng gần 6,7 kg và đã được bán cho tổ chức cứu hộ động vật Pigs Without
Partners tại Los Angeles vào cuối tháng 3 năm 1998. Hầu hết những chú lợn
hai đầu đều chết ngay sau khi sinh một thời gian ngắn.

phía Tây Cape năm 2003. Theo nhà nghiên cứu về rùa – tiến sĩ Ernst Baard đến từ
